Listowel Day 4: keeping up the momentum
It was with great satisfaction that The Guvnor observed he had got off the mark for his ‘second coming’ as both Clearwater Bay (7/4) and Red Tiger (5/2) obliged. Had Another Ambition stood up, he may well have gone close to winning also. The trick now, having got a head of steam up, is to keep it going!

Dermot Weld could be the man to follow in the opener with Duke De Savoie. Jadlaan may give that one must to do. John Oxx is not a man who floods tracks with runners so his representatives are also noted. He can claim the second on the card with Swing Pattern while Aidan O’Brien should win the third race with Big Occasion and the sight of Willie Mullins having a runner on the Flat – Dazzle Dancer – is also noted.

In terms of the jumps action, the Walsh/Martin double act team up again with Tijuana Dancer and Hold The Pin and both command the utmost respect.

For tomorrow however, The Guvnor’s advice is to ‘Try These Three’:
SWING PATTERN (2.55)
DAZZLE DANCER (3.55)
TIJUANA DANCER (4.55)
