Eamonn Coleman memorial fund
19 November 2007

Dear Sir/Madam,

Following a request by the family of the late Eamonn Coleman, a committee has been formed with two main objectives in mind:

• to hold a day of celebration marking the incredible life of Eamonn who was taken from us in June 2007
• to use this day as a vehicle to raise much needed cash for some of Eamonn’s favourite charities.

To this end, we will be holding a special day on the first anniversary of Eamonn’s death, 7th June 2008. We hope to stage a game between members of the famous Derry 1993 All Ireland winning side against an All Ireland selection of the many players who played for and against Eamonn. On that same night we will hold an informal gala dinner.

The dinner will be held in a specialised marquee on the premises of St Treas GAA Club, Ballymaguigan, Co Derry, which of course is Eamonn’s home club.

There are a limited number of tables of ten available for this event at a cost of £1000.00 per table. We would like to give you this opportunity to secure one of these tables by sending a deposit to the above address. Cheques should be made payable to: “Eamonn Coleman Memorial Fund “

In the event that you may not wish to avail of a table we would be delighted if you could make some donation to help offset our costs and leave more funds available for the chosen charities. Enclosed is a brochure containing details of the charities who will benefit and also our bank account details.

Many thanks in anticipation of your generosity.
