Hurling under lights at Croker: a photo report
For the first time ever, hurling will be played under lights at Croke Park on Saturday October 27th when Munster meet Connacht in the M Donnelly Inter Provincial Final.
The football final gets under way at 5.15pm, with the hurling final at 7.00pm.
The GAA is using this opportunity to thank all GAA supporters for their support throughout the season and the ticket prices for the finals reflect this:
Adult ticket €10
Child ticket € 5
Tickets are available from GAA outlets & Ticketmaster. Book online and receive a special family package discount based on purchase of 2 adult tickets and 4 child tickets.
Eoin Murphy (Waterford and Munster) and John Lee (Galway and Connacht) went along to Croker tonight to test out the lights and the results were spectacular. They were watched by GAA President Nickey Brennan and Inter-Provincial Championship Sponsor Martin Donnelly.
