Charlie Redmond wins Guinness boot camp
Football legend Charlie Redmond emerged the overall winner from the Guinness Hurling Bootcamp skills competition in the final programme on TV recently while Kerry All Star Liam Hassett was voted the public's number one choice.

Both Charlie and Liam walked away with €25,000 each for their respective charities, Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and Mental Health Ireland.

Charlie and Liam were tested on four hurling skills alongside Mick Galwey, Peter Clohessy, Michael Carruth, Paul Collins and Gearoid Towey. The four skills were goalkeeping, penalty-taking, the dribble and solo - and the long puc. Tipperary goalkeeper, Brendan Cummins and Clare's Niall Gilligan put the participants’ skills to the test during the final challenge whilst well-known referee Dickie Murphy from Wexford supervised the action.
